The Interior Training Academy trains and develops both new and existing super yacht interior crew. The Interior Training Academy operates from our training centre at 20 rue des Casemates, 06600 Antibes, in the heart of the super yacht industry.
Super yacht interior trainers with extensive previous experience are available to teach you the essential skills required in order for you to develop and succeed in the super yacht industry.
Our team can train you in a variety of areas such as interior management, operations management, destination management, food and wine service, cocktail service, barista service, cigar service, interior attention to detail, housekeeping, cabin preparation, flower arranging and laundry.
The Interior Training Academy is also a certified training provider of the Professional Yachting Association’s Level 1 Super Yacht Interior Introduction Course. This course is run throughout the year over a period of five consecutive days and is aimed to prepare interior super yacht crew with the necessary skills required to perform to a high standard for both owners and guests. Meet Our Team
Our scheduled interior courses are held at our training facilities in Antibes, France. Ships Cook and Food Safety courses are held in collaboration with Ocean Wave Monaco.
Terry Gilmore, founder of ITA Training and a director at Abacus & March, leads our on-board super yacht training services for interior crew. With 20+ years of experience working as Chief Steward he’s well placed to advise on all aspects of service and Interior work.
Our industry-leading trainers travel worldwide and can be made available at short notice on a daily basis.

Overview 1 day Food Safety Level 2 is a qualification aimed at chefs, stewardesses and all food handlers. The qualification is intended for those already working on yachts and those who are preparing to work in the industry. Accredited by HABC and compliant with CISR, MCA and many other flag states.
This course focuses on core spirits as well as the practical element of learning to make cocktails, including which tools to use, understanding recipes, the importance of a balanced drink and creating new combinations.
